Uzbekistan’s GDP makes up 144.868 trln. soums in 2014

Gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan made up about 144.868 trillion soums in 2014, which rose by 8.1% year-on-year, according to the preliminary data of the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan produced industrial goods for 75.193 trillion soums in 2014, which grew by 8.3% year-on-year. Production of agriculture produces rose by 6.9% and made up 36.957 trillion soums in the reporting period.
The volume of investments into fixed capital made up 33.715 trillion soums in 2014, which grew by 9.6% year-on-year. The volume of construction works increased by 18.3% and reached 19.779 trillion soums.
The retail trade in Uzbekistan grew by 14.3% in 2014 and made up 58.643 trillion soums.
Uzbekistan transported 1.456 billion tonnes of freight (+5%) and 7.321 billion passengers (+4.8%) in 2014. The cargo turnover made up 86.474 billion tonnes-km (+3.3%) and passenger turnover – 100.095 billion passengers-km (+5.8%).
