Uzbekistan to supply fruits, vegetables to Kurgan region

Issues of establishing economic cooperation between Kurgan region of Russia and Uzbekistan were discussed at the meeting between Deputy Governor of Kurgan region and Director of Department of economic development, trade and labour of Kurgan region Igor Ksenofontov and representatives of the state joint stock foreign trade company Uzinterimpeks.
Russian official said that Uzbek company presented its export potentials, including in supply of fruits, vegetables and textile products to Kurgan region.
He said that Department of economic development, trade and labour proposed to the Uzbek side to create distribution center for Ural Federal Area in Kurgan region.
Uzinterimpeks is one of the largest foreign trade companies of Uzbekistan with turnover of about US$1 billion.
The company exports cotton yarn, fabrics, ready textile products, fresh and tinned vegetables and fruits, dried fruits and vegetables, construction materials, etc.
