The CAF World Giving Index measures the average percentage of people in each country who donate money, volunteer or help a stranger. This year, 139 countries were surveyed, representing around 96% of the world’s population.

According to the CAF report, about 40% of Uzbekistan participate in charity campaigns in various forms. At the same time, 55% of population of Uzbekistan ready to help the stranger.

CAF said that about 46% of citizens of Uzbekistan donate money and 18% of citizens participate in volunteer work.

Myanmar is leading in the rating. Indonesia is on the second place, Kenya – on the third place. Yemen is on the last place (139th place).
