Uzbekistan Sells Over 261,000 Cars in Eight Months of 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to August 2025, Uzbekistan sold 261,211 vehicles, according to UzAvtoSanoat.

UzAuto Motors remains the market leader, selling 127,622 cars, which accounts for 49% of total sales. The second position is held by Khorezm Auto, a structural subdivision of UzAuto Motors, with 88,464 vehicles sold (33.8%). Together, UzAuto Motors’ share reaches 82.8%. The third place belongs to ADM Jizzakh, which sold 29,193 units, or 11.2% of the total volume.

Among other market participants, BYD Uzbekistan Factory showed the highest results with 14,721 cars sold (5.6%), followed by Asaka Motors with 829 units (0.3%), SamAuto with 309 vehicles (0.1%), and Jizzakh Auto with 73 units (0.03%).

By brand, Chevrolet retains the leading position with 216,086 vehicles sold. KIA ranks second with 16,838 units, followed by BYD with 14,721, Chery with 7,067, Haval with 5,288, Hyundai with 650, Isuzu D-Max with 309, and Wuling with 105 units.

Among individual models, consumer demand remains highest for the Chevrolet Cobalt, with 86,830 units sold, followed by the Chevrolet Damas with 66,241, and the Chevrolet Tracker with 24,999 units. The top ten most popular models also include the Chevrolet Labo (22,223), Chevrolet Onix (14,283), KIA Sonet (11,959), BYD Song Plus Champion DMI (3,687), BYD Yuan Up (3,659), BYD Chazor (3,112), and Haval M6 (2,901).
