Uzbekistan Registered 879,600 Births in 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2025, a total of 879,599 live births were registered in Uzbekistan, according to the National Statistics Committee.

The highest number of births was recorded in Samarkand Region, with 106,266 newborns, followed by Kashkadarya Region with 99,656 and Ferghana Region with 98,319 births.

Surkhandarya Region registered 81,885 births, Andijan Region 79,672, and Namangan Region 75,689.

In Tashkent Region, the figure stood at 64,245 births, while the capital recorded 62,318 newborns.

Khorezm Region registered 46,056 births, Bukhara Region 43,654, the Republic of Karakalpakstan 39,277, Jizzakh Region 37,393, Navoi Region 24,127, and Syrdarya Region 21,042 births.
