Uzbekistan holds 81st place in Passport Index

The annual Henley & Partners passport index analyzes the visa rules of more than 200 countries and territories of the world and ranks them according to the number of visa-free countries.

Henley & Partners Company carefully studied the rules of the visa regime for all countries and territories and compiled a rating of the world’s countries in terms of freedom of movement, i.e. the number of other countries that citizens of the specified country can visit without issuing a visa.

According to the index, citizens of Uzbekistan can visit 54 countries without a visa.

Over the past five years, the first place in the ranking has been invariably retained by the German passport. In 2018, German citizens can travel without a visa to 177 countries.

The second place went to Singapore (176 countries), the third was shared by eight states: Great Britain, Denmark, Italy, Norway, Finland, France, Sweden, Japan. Citizens of these countries were given the opportunity to visit 175 countries without a visa.

The last place in the rating went to Afghanistan, whose citizens were granted visa-free access to 24 countries.
