Uzbekistan commissions 11,000 houses in 2014

About 11,000 houses on standard projects were commissioned in rural areas of Uzbekistan in 2014, the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov said at the session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan on 16 January 2014.
He said that Uzbekistan pays special attention to implementation of the state programme on construction of individual houses on standard projects in rural areas, within which 11,000 new houses were constructed in 2014.
He said that houses, constructed in Uzbekistan, including in rural areas, are comfortable with high ceiling. They are constructed with use of modern high quality materials.
Uzbek President Islam Karimov said that in the result of implementation of the programme, view of Tashkent, Ferghana, Qoqand, Margilan, Namangan, Urgench, Termez and other cities changed.
Uzbekistan is planning to construct 12,000 houses on standard projects in rural areas in 2015.
