Uzbekistan and Tajikistan can sign agreement on visa-free regime

Aziz Abdukhakimov said that Uzbekistan and Tajikistan reached the agreement during the visit of Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov to Dushanbe.

In his opinion, this decision will also arouse great interest among the residents of Tajikistan to visit Uzbekistan- first, mutual trips to relatives, and secondly, tourism.

He said that the citizens of Tajikistan will be interested in both medical tourism and cognitive tourism - to Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva.

He said that about 150,000-200,000 people a year can visit Uzbekistan from Tajikistan.
