Uzbekistan and Palestine Aim to Expand Agricultural Ties
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Agriculture, Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov, held talks with Waill Ahmed Batrekhi, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Palestine to Tashkent, focusing on expanding bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector.
Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening existing ties and exploring new avenues for collaboration. Key topics included the export of Uzbek products to Palestine, such as dried fruits and vegetables, as well as soft drinks.
The discussions also covered the potential signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the ministries of agriculture of both countries to promote joint projects and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation.
Following the meeting, representatives from Uzbekistan and Palestine expressed readiness to intensify collaboration, implement promising initiatives, and further develop bilateral relations in the agricultural sector.
