Uzbekistan and China Discuss Tire Recycling and Carbon Black

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 19 March, Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, Ilzat Kasimov, held a meeting with Gu Zizhi, General Director of the China CAMC Engineering representative office in Uzbekistan, and Piao Qiang, head of Fushun Zhenxing Chemical Engineering.

Fushun Zhenxing Chemical Engineering, based in the Chinese city of Fushun, specializes in chemical engineering, petrochemicals, and environmental solutions, having completed more than 80 projects in the production of technical carbon.

During the discussions, the parties thoroughly reviewed investment projects in Uzbekistan focused on the recycling of used tires and the production of technical carbon. Particular attention was given to the implementation of modern pyrolysis technologies that ensure environmentally safe production, as well as the application of advanced engineering solutions to reduce industrial waste.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to establish practical cooperation and to steadily advance the project, which is viewed as a significant step toward developing Uzbekistan’s recycling industry and enhancing environmental sustainability.
