Uzbekistan adopts localization programme for 2015-2019

The presidential resolution said that the localization programme should include projects, which envisage production of competitive import-replacing and export-oriented products with the localization level of at least 36%.

The programme includes 600 projects, which envisage deep processing of local mineral raw, production of 1,225 demanded products. Estimated annual effect of import-replacement made up US$3.5 billion.

The enterprises, which were included to the programme, will receive tax and customs preferences for three years, the document said.
