Uzbek, Turkish FMs consider bilateral relations

On 18 October 2016, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu in Tashkent.
Mevlut Cavusoglu arrived in Tashkent to participate at the 43rd session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which opened in the Uzbek capital city on 18 October.
According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the ministers discussed the current state of Uzbek-Turkish relations and prospects for their sustained development and exchanged views on the issues included in the agenda of the 43rd Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers.
The sides also considered international and regional problems as well as other topics of mutual interest.
