Uzbek FM holds meeting with Afghan delegation

On 8 January 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received a delegation of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan headed by the Deputy Presidential Adviser on National Security Atikullah Nosher, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
During the meeting, issues of practical implementation of initiatives proposed by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly in September 2017 in New York and the November international conference in Samarkand were discussed.
Ambassador of Afghanistan Syed Shahabuddin Temuri took part in the meeting.
