The explosion occurred in shopping center “Perekrestok” in Saint Petersburg at 18:30 of 27 December 2017.

According to preliminary information, 10 people were injured in the result of the explosion. Among them is citizen of Uzbekistan Ivrikul Alikulov, born in 1957.

He was hospitalized to Alexandrovsky hospital No. 17, where he received medical assistance. According to physicians, the state of Mr Alikulov is consistently heavy, but there is currently no threat to his life.

The consular department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and consular officers of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation maintain contacts with the authorities of St. Petersburg and take measures to provide the necessary assistance to the victim.
