Uzbek, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Discuss Bilateral Ties
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 20 March, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a phone conversation with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
At the start of the call, the ministers exchanged greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and Navruz, wishing peace, prosperity, and well-being to the peoples of both countries.
The ministers noted that relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, based on strategic partnership, are developing at a rapid pace. They emphasized that active political dialogue and the high-level engagement set by the leaders of both nations are key drivers of this progress.
During the conversation, the ministers discussed pressing issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as regional and global developments, including the situation in the Middle East.
Both sides stressed the importance of coordinating efforts to ensure stability and sustainable development and expressed their readiness to continue close cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
