Uzbek and Russian FMs consider bilateral ties, regional security
The press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said that the foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation exchanged views on a complex of issues of bilateral cooperation.
The parties noted that 2017 was historic year for the Uzbek-Russian relations as ties between two nations developed dynamically and actively and cooperation expanded and deepen in both in traditional areas and in new spheres.
The ministers discussed the implementation of the agreements reached during the meetings of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Russian President Vladimir Putin in various formats.
The sides also exchanged views on issues of regional security, development of the situation in Afghanistan and further working meetings.
