Two Uzbek Nationals Extradited from US and Bahrain
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s National Central Bureau of Interpol announced the return of two wanted Uzbek citizens from the United States and Bahrain.
The first individual, wanted internationally for fraud, was extradited from the Kingdom of Bahrain through coordinated efforts between the relevant authorities in Tashkent and Manama, utilizing Interpol’s international law enforcement channels.
In the second case, a citizen accused of large-scale theft was deported from the United States to Uzbekistan following joint operational investigations coordinated with the US Embassy. The decision was made after information exchange and negotiations between the authorities.
Both cases underscore the effectiveness of international law enforcement collaboration and the critical role of Interpol channels in sharing operational intelligence. The extradited individuals are now facing trial and will be held accountable under Uzbek law.
