Some 1,700 Uzbek Citizens Visited Japan From January to July 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Statistics Committee, 1,700 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to Japan for tourism purposes between January and July 2025.

This figure is almost one and a half times higher than in the same period last year, representing an increase of 663 visitors.

Analysis of travel purposes shows that the majority of citizens — 1,407 people — visited Japan for leisure trips. Other purposes included visiting relatives (196 people), education (103 people), business trips (28 people), and medical treatment (4 people).
