The laboratory was transferred within the framework of the program of technical and organizational-methodical assistance, supported by the Government of the Russian Federation, to countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia in strengthening the capacity to prevent and respond to outbreaks of infections.

The Republican Center for Prevention of Quarantine and Highly Dangerous Infections of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan received the laboratory with equipment, consumables and diagnostic preparations.

In the course of the transfer, the specialists of Uzbekistan underwent training on use of labartory.
