Ravshan Irmatov Discusses Uzbekistan Football Development Strategy with FIFA

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — First Vice-President of the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) Ravshan Irmatov held a working meeting with Michel Sablon, Chief Specialist of FIFA’s Technical Department.

During the meeting, the parties discussed strategic plans for the development of national teams and football academies, as well as issues related to coach training and professional development.

Michel Sablon praised the technical achievements of Uzbekistan’s football system, noting that the work carried out has positively influenced the performance of the country’s national teams.

Particular attention was given to improving coach education and developing football at all levels — from youth and grassroots to women’s football.

Both sides confirmed their intention to expand joint projects in technical football development and to continue constructive cooperation with FIFA to strengthen the potential of Uzbekistan’s national teams.
