The law was adopted by the Legislative Chamber on 15 November 2017 and approved by the Senate on 20 December 2017.

The goal of the law is to educate young people in the spirit of respect for national and universal values, to affirm in their mind the feelings of devotion to the ideas of independence, national self-awareness, love for the Motherland and participation in its destiny, and to stimulate their initiatives.

The Law approves the description of the medal " Kelajak Bunyodkori" (Builder of Future) and the Regulations on the medal “Kelajak Bunyodkori ".

The medal will be awarded to citizens of Uzbekistan and foreigners at the age from 14 to 30, who contributed to development of Uzbekistan, protection of interest of people, achieve success in their studies and works, etc.
