Members of special commission fly to Kazakhstan
A bus caught fire in Irgiz district of Aktau region of Kazakhstan on Thursday, 18 January. In the result, 52 passengers died and five people were injured in the result of incident. According to preliminary data, most of the passengers were citizens of Uzbekistan.
The group, which flied to Aktobe region, included representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry for Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health and other departments.
The President entrusted the commission with task of establishing causes of ignition of the bus in Kazakhstan and taking measures to identify citizens of Uzbekistan.
The commission is also charged with organizing the delivery of the bodies of dead citizens and injured people to their homeland, as well as provide all the necessary assistance to their families.
