According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, share of the industry in total industrial production of Uzbekistan grew from 18.8% in 2013 to 19.7% in 2014.
The industry increased production of buses by 7.1%, trucks – 8.9%, lead-acid batteries for starting piston engines - 7.3%, automobile engines - by 8.8%, chasses, its parts and accessories - by 10.4%, radiators, silencers, exhaust pipes, clutches, steering wheels - 22.2%.
Uzbekistan increased production of such electrotechnical products such as circuit breaker (for voltage up to 1 kV) by four times, transformers with liquid dielectric by 3.3 times, cloth, grill, netting and fencing of iron or steel wires- two times, copper wire- by 1.3 times, electric conductors for voltage higher than 1 kV (high voltage) - 19.0%, insulated wires, winding - 14.1%.
The country increased production of refrigerators and freezers by 1.9 times, hand tools for use in agriculture and horticulture - in 1.2 times, cash registers (except for POS terminals) – by 1.2 times.
