Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent’s Youth Creativity Palace is hosting an exhibition of the trainees of “New Generation Forum” Children’s Creativity Centre, showcasing works by members of Drawing Clubs Phoenix and Mozaika (Mosaic) and Souvenir Studio Rostok. The exhibition has been organized by the Fund Forum, the youth Creativity Palace, and the New Generation Forum.

This is the first exhibition which has brought together little artists. The themes presented at the exhibition include friendship, family, nature, holidays, and others. The items in the showroom range from drawings, clay-made items, Play-Doh to sequin-decorated items and carnival masks. The works boast lively colour, sincere performance, and diversity. The exhibition is continuing a series of creative events launched by the recently reconstructed New Generation Forum Children’s Creativity Centre, whose opening was marked by a personal exhibition of Sardor Sadykov, a trainee of the Centre.

Previously, the works by the Centre’s trainees have participated and won in various republican and international contests, exhibitions and festivals held by the Fund Forum and other foreign organizations, for instance, during the exhibition “Japan in the Eyes of Children of Uzbekistan” in Japan, photo exhibition “Uzbekistan in the Eyes of Children” in London, photo exhibition “World Etagami Show - Olympics-2008”, the 4th International Exhibition of Children`s Creativity “World in Harmony Granting Love 2008” in Beijing, International Children and Youth Culture and Art Festival-2009 in China and others.

Yangi Avlod Forumi (New generation forum) Centre was founded by the Fund Forum in Tashkent in February 2007 with the goal of supporting and developing children’s creative endeavours, discovering young talents’ potential, and providing them with comprehensive support to help them achieve their goals. The reconstructive work was launched in November 2009 and finished recently. Training sessions at the Centre, however, had not been halted. Currently, over 1000 children aged 6-16 are training at the Centre free of charge. Leading specialists are working with them in diverse kinds of applied art, national crafts and modern science.

The exhibition will run until May 13, 2010.
