Legislative Chamber approves agreement with Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan passed a draft law “On ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan on the junction point of the State borders of the three states (Samarkand, November 10, 2017)”.
The Agreement specifies the location of the junction point of the state borders of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan and the passage of state border lines near the junction point, as well as a corresponding description was made.
The document was signed in Samarkand within the framework of the international conference “Central Asia: One Past and a Common Future, Cooperation for Sustainable Development and Mutual Prosperity”.
The agreement was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Komilov, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Kairat Abdurakhmanov and the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov.
