Iraq Plans to Launch Direct Flights to Uzbekistan to Boost Trade and Business

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Iraq is considering the launch of direct air services to Uzbekistan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan reports.

As part of an informal business dialogue organized by the Iraqi Economic Consulate, officials and entrepreneurs from both countries held a meeting.

The Iraqi side outlined plans to simplify visa procedures for Uzbek citizens and announced efforts to establish direct flights between Iraq and Uzbekistan. These measures are expected to provide an additional boost to bilateral business and trade relations.

The event took place during the Baghdad International Fair and served as an effective platform for dialogue and strengthening cooperation between exporters from both countries.
