Indian envoy holds meeting at MFERIT

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 January 2015, the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan (MFERIT) hosted a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Uzbekistan Vikram Kumar Doraiswami.

During the negotiations, the sides exchanged views on further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in economic, trade, investment, finance, transport and communication sectors, the press service of MFERIT said.

The issues related to the preparation and holding of the upcoming meeting of the Uzbek-Indian intergovernmental commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation in the second half of 2015 in Tashkent were discussed.
