Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan introduced changes to the governmental resolution “On additional measures on improving monitoring of foreign trade operations in Uzbekistan” from 21 July 2014.

Within this resolution, Uzbekistan abolished registration of foreign trade contracts at the authorized banks from 1 September 2014. Instead, business entities should register contracts via Single interactive service portal with use of electronic signature.

In line with the new resolution, the foreign trade contracts, which include information on state secrets, will not be registered at the portal.

Such contracts should be registered at customs bodies and banks in line with the set rules, the resolution underlined.

The cargo customs declarations on foreign trade contracts, which include state secrets, should be registered by customs bodies in paper format.
