On 20 December, the Cabinet of Ministers issued a resolution “On introducing changes and amendments to certain decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 14 March 2017 No. PP-2833 “On measures to further improve the system of crime prevention and crime control”)”.
In the process of rendering public services to citizens, from now on, notarially certified copies are required only for documents, which are necessary for acting abroad, approved or issued by foreign authorities, from documents subject to apostille and legalization, and in cases directly stipulated by law.
According to the document, copies of documents, submitted by individuals and legal entities, are made, by the state bodies, which provide services.
The Government also amended the list of normative legal acts, which abolished the need for notarized copies of documents.
