GM Uzbekistan increases car prices by 30% in Russia
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
GM Uzbekistan increased prices for automobiles from 20% to 30% in Russia, according to the Russian mass media.
The reports said that in the result, automobile, produced in Uzbekistan, lost a status of one of the most affordable in Russia.
The price of sedan Daewoo Gentra starts from 625,000 rubles (US$1 – 66 rubles), compact Matiz – from 396,000 rubles, Nexia – from 450,000 rubles. The prices are for cars of 2015 production, older models can be purchased in old prices.
In the result, Daewoo Gentra is more expensive compared to Korean-made Chevrolet Cobalt (from 571,000 rubles), Hyundai Solaris (from 550,000 rubles) and Kia Rio (from 451,000 rubles).
