In the result, the contracts for US$1.25 billion were signed. About 700 businesses exported their products and services for over US$840 million.
Over 1,770 businesses received assistance in studying external markets, including 140 businesses received help in search of business partners and 271 – financial, legal and organizational assistance in participation in foreign exhibitions, fairs and tenders. About 327 businesses got help in drafting export contracts and 27 – to obtain insurance policies.
Fund for support of exports of small businesses and private entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan was founded in August 2013 under the National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity. It has branches across Uzbekistan.
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov exempted the Fund from payment of all taxes, duties and payments to the state funds, except single social payment.
