Foreigners and stateless person can get residence permit in Tashkent city and Tashkent region for 600m soums

Individuals – foreign citizens and stateless persons, who arrived in Tashkent and Tashkent region from other countries and have no permanent resident in other regions of Uzbekistan, have right to purchase real estate in new building for at least 600 million soums.
Previously, the minimum amount of such transactions was US$150,000 or over 1.221 billion soums.
Changes and additions to instruction on procedure for notarial acts by notaries were made by the order of the Minister of Justice on 15 January, according to Norma.uz.
Persons, who bought a habitation on indicated conditions can apply for permanent residence in Tashkent and Tashkent region.
In parallel, the minimum amount of state duty for notarization of such transactions (10% of the transaction amount) will also decrease.
