Foreign Ministry to attract investments and tourists - President

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan will be revised. This was stated by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in his address to the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The head of Uzbekistan said that on 15 January 2018, he will reconsider the entire structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

He noted that the main task of the Foreign Ministry and diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan abroad will be to attract investment and technology, as well as tourists to the country.

Also Shavkat Mirziyoyev said that he will consider the activities of all ambassadors of Uzbekistan abroad and, if necessary, appoint new ones.
