First Sunday of August declared as the Day of Railway Workers

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a law “On Establishing the Day for Railway Transport Workers of the Republic of Uzbekistan” on 20 December 2017.

The law was passed by the Legislative Chamber on 19 October 2017 and approved by the Senate on 20 December 2017. The law comes into force from the day of its official publication (on 21 December 2017).

The first Sunday of August is announced as the Day of Railway Workers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the law said.
