Entrepreneur Fined for Unauthorized Use of TOYOTA Logo

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Unauthorized use of the TOYOTA trademark has been stopped in Tashkent.

The Ministry of Justice received a complaint that a local business entity had used the TOYOTA trademark and logo in advertising materials without permission from the rights holder — Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha.

An investigation confirmed that the entrepreneur indeed used the trademark and similar designations for commercial purposes without the company’s consent.

As a result, an administrative offense protocol was issued against the head of the company under Part 1 of Article 177 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Thus, the unauthorized use of the TOYOTA trademark was officially halted, and administrative measures were applied to prevent similar violations in the future.
