Earthquake of Magnitude 3.7 Recorded in Jizzakh Region
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.7 was recorded in Uzbekistan, with its epicenter located in the Bahmal district of Jizzakh region.
The tremors occurred on 3 February 2026 at 15:38:46 local time at a depth of 10 km. The epicenter was approximately 230 km southwest of Tashkent.
The intensity of the tremors in different districts was assessed as follows: Bulungur district — 2–3 points, Bahmal district — 2–3 points, Taylak district — 2 points, Urgut district — 2 points, Jambay district — 2 points, and Gallyaaral district — 2 points. The epicenter’s coordinates were 39.62° N, 67.56° E.
