The sides underlined positive trends in bilateral relations, especially in cross-border issues and trade and economic direction.
The parties added that parliamentary cooperation also contributes to the strengthening of a new phase of partnership between countries, which the Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan began.
Dastanbek Jumabekov underlined the breakthrough in relations between two states. He said that the parliaments should contribute to these positive changes. Jumabekov invited the leaders of the Uzbek parliament to visit Bishkek on an official visit.
In turn, Nigmatilla Yuldashev said that Kyrgyzstan is a time-tested neighbor and partner of Uzbekistan. “The outgoing year has become fruitful in strengthening bilateral cooperation. Next year, we plan to bring the volume of trade to US$500 million” he said.
