Davis Cup: Uzbekistan defeats South Korea in doubles rubber
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan national tennis team clinched a 2-1 lead in the match against South Korea within the first round of the of the Group I Asia/Oceania Zone of Davis Cup.
In the doubles match Denis Istomin and Sanjar Fayziev paired to defeat South Korean pair Hyeon Chung and Yong-Kyu Lim in five sets 6:3, 6:7, 6:7, 7:5 and 6:4.
In the result, Uzbekistan currently leads with the score 2-1. Uzbekistan will need to win one match to advance next round.
