CMEC to construct chemical plant in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) will construct a plant on production of NPK-fertilizers in Samarkand.

CMEC and Uzkimyosanoat signed a contract on construction of technological part of the plant on “turn-key” bases at Samarkandkimyo, Prime agency reported.

The construction will be completed by the end of 2015. The designed capacity of the plant is 240,000 tonnes of NPK-fertilizers.

The project with total cost of US$20 million will be financed due to own resources of Uzkimyosanoat and direct investments of CMEC.
