CHUST TEXTILE Launches New Production Projects in Household Chemicals, Cosmetics, and Knitwear

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — New projects by CHUST TEXTILE LLC, with a total investment of US$10 million, are being implemented in the Chust district of Namangan Region within the Namangan Special Economic Zone.

The hokim of Namangan Region, Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, reviewed the progress of the projects, which include the production of finished knitwear as well as household chemicals and cosmetic products.

Once the projects are commissioned, they are expected to create 1,000 new jobs and reach an annual production capacity of 370 billion soums. The output will be exported to the EAEU countries and Europe, with export volumes projected at around US$30 million.

The hokim also inspected a modern hangar facility built for the implementation of the new projects, discussed current issues with the entrepreneur, and issued instructions to the heads of relevant organizations to ensure their timely resolution.
