China Introduces Online Entry Card System for Foreign Passengers

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Starting from 20 November 2025, China implemented a new online system for completing entry cards for foreign citizens arriving in the country.

Passengers can now fill out the electronic form in advance and receive a QR code, which must be saved on a mobile device or printed to present at border control.

According to the Chinese migration authorities, the entry card can be completed via the official platform of the National Immigration Administration at en.nia.gov.cn.

The electronic form is designed to simplify the entry process and reduce the time required for passport control at airports.

In addition to pre-arrival online completion, international airport arrival zones in China feature QR codes linking to the same electronic form, allowing passengers to complete the entry card upon arrival before proceeding to border control.

Airlines and passengers are advised to take this new system into account when planning travel.

Foreign citizens are strongly encouraged to complete the form in advance to avoid potential delays at the border and ensure a faster and smoother entry process.
