Bus Collides with Car in Tashkent, No Injuries Reported

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 11 March 2026, a traffic accident occurred in Tashkent involving a King Long bus and a POLESTAR 2 LONG RANGE car.

The collision happened at 19:17 on Shakhrisabz Street, in the Mirabad district, on the dedicated bus lane (BRT) heading toward Oybek metro station. The bus driver, Z.D., born in 1989 with 14 years of experience, was traveling in his designated lane when the car, driven by G.I., born in 2000, violated traffic rules by turning left against the “Go Straight” sign.

No injuries were reported, according to Tashshahartanskhizmat JSC. The bus sustained technical damage, and the incident was recorded by traffic police inspectors.

The company emphasized the importance of following traffic rules and urged all drivers to remain attentive on the roads.
