Angren Road Accident on Tashkent–Osh Highway: Criminal Case Initiated

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Today, on 7 September, at around 12:20 p.m., a traffic accident involving multiple vehicles occurred on the A-373 Tashkent–Osh international highway within the city limits of Angren, Tashkent region.

According to the Tashkent Regional Department of Internal Affairs, a criminal case has been opened under Part 3 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code (“Violation of traffic safety rules or vehicle operation resulting in fatalities”). Investigative and operational measures are currently underway.

The authorities have not yet disclosed the number of casualties or injured.
