AGMK construct mine at Kayragach field

The company said that its mine builders commissioned adits No 1 and No 1A in Angren ore department. New Kayragach field appeared here and the first ore from field were delivered to gold processing plant of AGMK.

The cost of the project “Construction of underground mine at Kayragach field” makes up US$30.6 million. The capacity of the mine is up to 80,000 tonnes of ore a year.

The project was financed due to the loan of the Uzbek bank for US$13.2 million, loan of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan – US$6.7 million and own resources of AGMK – US$10.7 million.
