About 10,000 people to carry out Umrah pilgrimage in 2018
The guests were met by the chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs Ortikbek Yusupov and the chairman of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, mufti Usmonkhon Alimov, the press service of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan said.
Mufti Usmonkhon Alimov stressed that Uzbekistan has been cooperating with Al-Hidaya on organization of Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages of the Uzbek citizens.
He said that there is need to further raise the level of pilgrimage services in new pilgrimage season, improve quality of hotel and transport services, and prepare dishes, achieve sufficient seats in the Mino and Muzdalifa valleys, and provide workers, cooks and representatives of medical institutions with all the necessary conditions .
Ortikbek Yusupov stressed the need to get a new hotel in Medina during the Hajj and Umrah seasons, while paying attention to the availability of a catering place and allocation of special office numbers for representatives of workers and medical groups.
In turn, the head of Al-Hidaya company Sheikh Saleh Salim Bakhwaini said that it is a great honor for his company to serve the pilgrims from Uzbekistan, and will do everything possible to justify the trust.
He also said that he has the capacity to fulfill all the above-mentioned issues and requirements. At the end of his speech, he expressed gratitude for the mutually beneficial and trustful cooperation.
Following the meeting, the parties signed a contract for Umrah-2018. According to the document, 10,000 citizens of Uzbekistan in 2018 will have the opportunity to perform Umrah pilgrimage.
