A Fugitive Wanted for Large-Scale Fraud Deported to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Thanks to the joint efforts of the National Central Bureaus of Interpol in Tashkent and Bangkok, a fugitive criminal has been deported to Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

The man had been on an international wanted list for committing large-scale fraud.

After a criminal case was initiated, he fled the investigation and hid in Thailand.

Through coordinated action by the Uzbek and Thai branches of Interpol, the offender was tracked down, detained, and returned to his homeland for further legal proceedings.
