Uzbekiston Temir Yollari explains the reason for concluding a deal with "cashing firms"
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- It is known that the day before a group of business entities expressed dissatisfaction with the actions of the tax authorities. Among the large organizations that suffered damage from the short-sighted measures taken, there is also Uzbekiston Temir Yollari.
According to the requirements, documents were provided confirming the legality and validity of each transaction, as well as evidence that when choosing a counterparty, all precautions were duly followed and that the supplier of the products fulfilled all of its contractual obligations.
In the course of a deep and critical study of each case separately, it was found that out of the contracts indicated in the claim for a total amount of 18.8 billion soums, it was revealed that supplier organizations did not pay value added tax under contracts for the amount of 530 million soums (i.e. i.e. 2.8% of the claim amount).
The amount of value added tax unpaid by unscrupulous entrepreneurs in the amount of 69 million soums was collected from the perpetrators and sent to the budget in accordance with the established procedure.
Unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of contracts with dubious counterparties were executed through the platforms of the trading floors of the commodity exchange. In this direction, a proposal was made to the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the side of Uzbekiston Temir Yollari to admit business entities to trading on trading floors only after studying counterparties for their reliability in the role of taxpayers.
Uzbekiston Temir Yollari will continue its efforts to maintain its image of a conscientious taxpayer.
