Online presentation of tourism potential takes place in Tokyo

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Tokyo, together with the Japanese large travel company JTB, held an online presentation of the tourism potential of our country.

More than 100 people took part in the presentation of Uzbekistan. This testifies to the great interest in our country among the Japanese public.

The guests of the event got acquainted with the history, rich culture, identity of the Uzbek people, as well as the tourism potential of ancient cities included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

In addition, a concert program was presented during the event by the Japanese artistic ensemble "Gulistan". The Japanese group performed Uzbek national dances, which left an unforgettable experience for the participants of the event.

An agreement has been reached with a Japanese company to continue holding such events this year.

A guide-interpreter from the city of Samarkand joined the event online and spoke about the attractiveness of the city, unique historical sights.

Based on the results of the survey, the event participants expressed a desire to participate in such presentations dedicated to Uzbekistan, as well as visit our country next year as international tourism recovers.
