Saudi Arabia gives Uzbekistan US$5.59m loan to upgrade water pump

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Saudi Arabia is allocating a US$5.59 million loan to Uzbekistan to reconstruct the Alot water pumping unit in the country’s Bukhara region.

Saudi Arabian Minister of Finance and National Economy Ibrahim Bin-Abd-al-Aziz al-Assaf visited the Uzbek Finance Ministry on 4 June to hold talks.

On the result of the talks, the sides inked the loan agreement.
