CEC to cooperate with mass media

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan signed bilateral agreements on cooperation with National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, National News Agency of Uzbekistan (UzA) and Jahon news agency.

The documents are directed at ensuring openness and transparency of election process and informing public on parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan.

Chairperson of the Central Elections Commission of Uzbekistan Mirzo-Ulugbek Abdusalomov said that the cooperation has great importance in explaining election legislation to population, familiarize them with pre-election platform of the parties, progammes of candidates, etc.
